I have read the book and it’s amazing. It is action-packed and you won’t stop until you’ve read it all. No, i’m not putting spoilers here, there are more than enough going around already. Hehehe.
I just wish Tonks and Lupin didn’t die. And I also hoped that Fred is alive in the end, that he was just petrified. I can’t believe he died. What happened to Grimmauld Place? Why Kreacher is in Hogwarts in the last battle is not explained, too. Those were just the questions that are in my head right now. Anyway, Harry’s alive and had sons and a daughter.
Ooopppsss… What did I say aboout spoilers?

It’s been a long while since I last updated this blog. I have been so busy lately. There are lots of QA tasks handed down to us by our QA Manager. Don’t get me wrong… I’m not complaining, it’s all good.:D I like it when there’s a lot to do. Because there will be less idle time and more work done, which will lead to higher productivity.
However, we should not let work consume all our time. We should also set some time for ourselves and most of all we should not forget God no matter how busy our day is. Let’s utter a prayer once in a while, thanking God for the strength He gives as the day wears on. We should always remember that God is our greatest foundation. We should build our house on the Rock not on the sand.
As Casting Crowns’ American Dream lyrics goes:
All work no play may have made Jack a dull boy
But all work no God has left Jack with a lost soul
But he’s moving on full steam
He’s chasing the American dream
And he’s gonna give his family the finer things
Not this time son I’ve no time to waste
Maybe tomorrow we’ll have time to play
And then he slips into his new BMW
And drives farther and farther and farther away
So He works all day and tries to sleep at night
He says things will get better;
Better in time
And he works and he builds with his own two hands
And he pours all he has in a castle made with sand
But the wind and the rain are comin’ crashing in
Time will tell just how long his kingdom stands
His kingdom stands
His American Dream is beginning to seem
More and more like a nightmare
With every passing day
“Daddy, can you come to my game?”
“Oh Baby, please don’t work late.”
Another wasted weekend
And they are slipping away
‘Cause he works all day and lies awake at night
He tells them things will get better
It’ll just take a little more time
He used to say, “Whoever dies with the most toys wins”
But if he loses his soul, what has he gained in the end
I’ll take a shack on the rock
Over a castle in the sand
Now he works all day and cries alone at night
It’s not getting any better
Looks like he’s running out of time
‘Cause he worked and he built with his own two hands
And he poured all he had in a castle made with sand
But the wind and the rain are coming crashing in
Time will tell just how long his kingdom stands
His kingdom stands
All they really wanted was You
All they really wanted was You
All they really wanted was You

Last night, my boardmate gave birth to a healthy baby girl. That was unexpected since her due date is supposed to be on August 7. Thankfully, all signs showed that the baby is very healthy although it is quite small; she’s less than 6 pounds.
The mother didn’t cry while in labor. She just cried when me and my sister arrived at the hospital to visit her. She said she is very happy because everything is all right and there is no problem with the baby (she tried to abort it when it was just 4 months in her womb). We tried to talk her out of the abortion thingy and gladly she discarded the idea. Now she’s very thankful that she already has a baby and grateful to God that He has given her a very precious gift. She believes that God really has a purpose for her daughter.
The first thing she asked us when we arrive was if we have a bible since she wanted to read some verses and my sister being a girl scout didn’t forget to bring one. I also let her borrow my iPod which is full of Christian music so she will be comforted. She listened to it while my sister is reading to her from the Book of Proverbs.
They will be going home this Friday and I’m excited to hold her baby. I’ll see if i can post some pics later. Thank God for a new delight.

Have you been in a situation where you wet your pants because of some carelessness? It’s a hard situation isn’t it? Well, I’ve been there and I tell you, you wouldn’t know what to do.
It’s around 3PM and two hours more to go before office hours are over. I felt this urge to go to the toilet and when I got there I saw that the toilet bowl is wet. I was very careful not to come in contact with the wet surface and in the process I wet my pants and underwear. “Great!” I thought. “Now what should I do?”
I went back to my work station careful not to let anybody notice that my pants are wet. I was in a crisis. I thought, “maybe my pants will dry up after 2 hrs. But what will I do if I feel hungry, or need to go to the toilet again?” I was so afraid to get up because my officemate might notice that my pants and chair are wet. So what I did, I let more than two hours pass that I aint moving in my chair. I didn’t get up to get some water to drink or food to eat. I suffered from hunger and thirst! And worse, I feel like I need to go to the toilet again and it’s like 15 minutes to go before office hours are over. Waaaaahhhhhh!!!
Hahahaha! I can only laugh at myself. If you were in the same situation, what would you do?

Two days ago, I accompanied my sister to her boarding house because I was going to help her with her project. When we entered the gate, I saw this big, black dog sleeping at the corner. It didn’t bark nor look at me so I didn’t feel any kind of fear. I just turned my back on it and told my sister, “close the gate or the dog’s gonna get out.”
What I didn’t know was that while I was talking with her, the dog got up, sneaked on me and suddenly bit me on my leg. I was so shocked that I haven’t said a word. I just stared at the dog barking madly at me; trembling at the sight of his big mouth and sharp fangs. The owner rushed out and calmed her dog, while my sister was laughing and asking me if I’m alright. The owner asked me if I’m hurt but I didn’t said a word, just showed her my bruised leg. Fortunately, there was no wound or bleeding just a small swollen area.
The owner examined my leg and assured me that there is no wound so I will be alright. Thank God, He really loves me. Hehehehe. As of now, I don’t feel like seeing a doctor but I still have to watch my self for the rabies symptoms such as the following:
* Fever
* Headache
* Loss of Appetite
* Malaise (general unwell feeling)
* Itching or burning at location of bite
* Restlessness
* Nausea
* Tiredness
* Sore Throat
* Muscle Stiffness
* Dilated Pupils
* Increased Saliva Production
* Increased Sensitivity, to light, sound, or temperature changes
Within days, symptoms progress to:
* Abnormal Behavior
* Anxiety
* Confusion/Disorientation
* Delirium
* Hallucinations
* Insomnia
* Convulsions
* Hydrophobia, or fear of water, characterized by severe and painful throat spasms that occur upon seeing or trying to swallow fluids
* In this state of agitation and excitability, death usually occurs from cardiac arrest or respiratory failure.
* If the patient survives the agitated state, excitability ceases. Paralysis then sets in, progressing to death.
I’ve read that here and so far, I am only beginning to have a fever. I hope it’s not caused by the virus. I am still not worried about that now. Maybe if I start fearing water then, that’s the time I’m going to panic.
