After long days (even months) of waiting, the first episode for book 3 of The Avatar: The Last Airbender was aired on Sept 21, 2007. Everybody happy including me.
I’ve been waiting for this since the first week of August and the moment has finally come. The complete list of episodes and the latest episode entitled “The Awakening” can be watched here. Enjoy!

I was reading very good quotes at my friend’s newest website today when I came accross this quote:
You know what hurts?
It’s when you get too attached to someone.
And for some insane reason, suddenly, without any warnings …
THE PERSON DRIFTS AWAY …
I’ve been through that and yeah, it hurts so badly. Sometimes I just wish that things weren’t supposed to be that way. And it is even more painful when you try to run after that person but whenever you try to follow him, he just gets further and further away from you.

I can say that I am very in touch with my kiddie nature. I love cartoons, animes or whatever you may call them. Everytime I go home and if I have so much time to waste, I watch animes. We have few collections and one of those that I liked and finished is Alice Academy also known as Gakuen Alice.
I don’t know why I like this anime so much. Maybe because I also like Harry Potter. Alice Academy is like Hogwarts just that it is very known and is actually protected by the government. The story basically revolves on Mikan, a 10 year old girl. She is an energetic, good-natured girl, but is very clumsy. She has been friends with Hotaru since second grade, so when Hotaru left to the Alice Academy she became really depressed and decided to leave her grandfather and her home to go after Hotaru. She was then accepted to Alice Academy by Narumi-sensei and could attend Alice Academy with Hotaru and other children with extraordinary powers.
The anime teaches everything about friendship and loyalty. Mikan is very loyal to Hotaru up to the point that she wants to follow her everywhere she goes. Also other characters like Ruka, who is very loyal to Natzume, exhibits the real value of friendship by trying hard to protect him.
I like Natzume’s character, too. And I love it that he is paired with Mikan in the series. They look good together. Unfortunately, I heard that there will be no season 2 for this anime. Anyway, The story is very good and entertaining. I would recommend this to kids and everyone young at heart. You will really enjoy it. (Magpromote ba naman?)

Last week, one of our client’s servers crashed and so we have to restore all sites that are in it. We were so pressured because the sites hosted in it are owned by our most important clients.
Our system admins had little rest. I am not one of the admins but my part came later when most of the sites are back up and running. I am one of the QA persons so my task is to make sure those sites are working. Regression testing is sure so tiring but it’s better than having no task at all, right?
Now, QA tasks are lining up that’s why I don’t have ample time to update this blog. Even if I wanted to finish the article that’s been forming in my mind for several weeks now, I don’t have a choice but to finish my job first. It’s top priority. But soon, I’ll be writing again and visiting those social media sites I’ve been joining to increase my so called SEO knowledge. Hehehe

I was browsing Twitter this morning when one of my friends posted a link about 7 reasons why there are just so many emo people nowadays.
I clicked on the link and found out that it is a very interesting article and I want to share it with you. He titled it 7 Reasons the 21st Century is Making You Miserable. It’ a good read. Read the article here.

This blog is more than 4 months old already but I guess I haven’t really introduced myself to my readers. I wrote the article below in my old blog, which I deleted. Here is my short story.
Some years ago, in a far away land, was born a brilliant child who is destined to change lives of many people (I am not entirely sure of this but for now I think that’s my purpose). She grew up to be a quiet, smart, loving girl and she is favored by her father above her other siblings (I am not sure of this, too, but my father used to say that I am his favorite daughter).
I attended a public school in elementary where I was accelerated to Grade 1. I never studied nursery or pre-school, and if that happened in today’s generation you can call me a gifted child then. My teacher never noticed me, until I started sleeping in her classes. She would wake me up and gave me several kinds of punishment like answer the problems she wrote in the blackboard or flash cards at me with mathematic equations that I have to answer as fast as I can. I just made her amazed because even though I slept most of the time I usually answered her questions correctly. But then, teachers still hate sleeping pupils so I never got to the honor list. I just found out that I was her favorite pupil when I was already in high school.
I was an honor student from grade 2 to grade 6 plus my parents were so proud since I was awarded Best in Science because I used to compete with other schools in science quizzes. I was so innocent that time that I didn’t know how brilliant I am (hahaha!).
Anyway, I took an admission test in order to be admitted in the school where I will be spending my secondary education and I was so confident that I will pass the exam but I never expected to be on the top list. I was popular during my high school days. But my teachers hated me because they thought I am a nerd.
My college days were brighter than my high school because I got to know the value of life and friendship. I was friendlier and I actually had several groups of friends. I am not the silent type anymore. I can talk from sunset to sunrise if there is someone kind enough to chat with me and listen to anything I say. Friends were more important for me than my family then, but too much of anything is not good, so God started to teach me (us actually, my friends and I) some lesson. Until now those friends are still my bestfriends because we passed the tests that came our way (hehehe).
I graduated college without flying colors but I was happy because I went to the most prestigious school in the country and being admitted alone is an honor (;)). Currently, I am working in an outsourcing company.

It’s my friend’s birthday today. I wanted to greet him and thank him for all his contributions in my life but I don’t know where to start. It seems like I am lost for words and I don’t know what to say. There are lots of things I want to tell him but whenever I think about writing it down, the words are gone.
After long hours of recollection of good memories about him, thinking about something very nice to write to him and put it on his profile in friendster; I finally composed a short, precise and very memorable line for him. I ended up writing “Happy Birthday!”
Yep, that’s all. Hahaha! I guess that’s enough and I hope he will realize that atleast I didn’t forget his birthday.
